Commercial refits in sensitive, live environments like care homes demand more than just standard floor fitting. They require respect, cleanliness, and specialist product knowledge. For Herons House in Kidderminster, the client needed to upgrade a resident's room and ensuite to improve both the aesthetics and the safety of the space, without causing any disruption to the people living there. We uplifted the old materials and installed Scala impervious-backed commercial carpet to prevent moisture seeping through to the sub-floor, paired with Altro Aquarius safety flooring in the ensuite, a specialist product engineered specifically for barefoot use in wet rooms. The finished space was tidier, more practical, harder wearing, and delivered with complete respect for the care home environment.

What areas do you cover for domestic flooring?
For domestic work we cover a 30-mile radius around Worcester. We take on the right jobs within that area, particularly larger properties and high-value installations where the scale of the work makes sense. Get in touch and we will be straight with you about whether it works.
Do you supply and fit Karndean LVT?
Yes. Karndean is our preferred LVT product for domestic installations. It is one of the best products on the market for homes and we know it well. We supply and fit it across a range of styles including wood plank, stone effect, and herringbone.
Does domestic flooring installation include sub-floor preparation?
Yes, always. Sub-floor preparation is mandatory on every installation regardless of the product going down. We handle all self-levelling smoothing compounds and plyboarding in-house to make sure the surface is right before anything is fitted.
What is the difference between vinyl and LVT?
Sheet vinyl comes in a single roll and is a practical, cost-effective choice for bathrooms and utility rooms. LVT comes in individual tiles or planks, is significantly more durable, and gives a much more realistic wood or stone finish. We will advise on which is the better choice for your space.
Do you subcontract your domestic flooring work?
No, never. Every installation is carried out by our own in-house team. We treat your home with the same respect and attention we bring to every commercial contract, and one team is responsible for the result from start to finish.
